Financial Aid

Need-Based Aid 

Annual awards are determined through a confidential FACTS assessment. Families complete the secure FACTS application – often alongside the New Student Application – and receive an aid decision with their acceptance packet. 

FACTS Aid

Georgia Tax Credit Scholarships 

Donors redirect state‑income‑tax dollars through GaSSO, designating SSCS. These scholarships frequently supplement, and sometimes fully cover, tuition for qualified students. Our team will guide families through reserving a credit slot each year.

Multi-Child Discount 

An automatic tuition reduction is applied to second, third, and subsequent siblings enrolled concurrently at full tuition. 

Payment Schedule

Annual

Due June 1 (or within seven days of initial enrollment). Full tuition less a 2% pre‑pay scholarship; payment by check. 

Monthly

Twelve equal drafts (June–May). Choose ACH (no fee) or credit/debit (3 % processing fee). 

Additional Fees & Expenses

Enrollment Fee

One-time fee of $350 due with completed application.  

Student Supply & Activity Fee

Annual fee of $170 per student. This fee covers nearly all school supplies for the student, field trips, field day, etc.  

Uniforms

New uniforms may be purchased through Lands End. Used uniforms may be purchased through our PTA uniform closet when available.

Middle School Trips

Our middle school students take one multi-day trip per year to places such as Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Charleston, or Saint Augustine.  

Athletics, Arts, & Clubs

Athletics, fine arts, and other extracurricular activities may require participation fees to cover the cost of coaches, uniforms, venue rentals, etc.  

After-School Care

SSCS offers families extended care on Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:30pm. Students may attend regularly or day-by-day for an additional fee. The fee is $50 / week ($40 / week for each additional student) or $15 / day for drop-in ($12 / day for additional student). No after-care is provided on holidays or on half-days.
