At Saint Simons Christian School, we believe students are best equipped for life when they are provided a firm foundation in Christ and in academics. SSCS partners with parents to prepare students to excel in high school and to recognize truth in a culture of mixed messages - guiding hearts toward Christ while growing minds through rigorous academics. Admissions Standards

Age & Readiness

  • K4 entrants should be 4 years old by September 1 and toilet trained.
  • Kindergarten entrants must be 5 years old by September 1.

Academic Preparation

Applicants complete grade level readiness assessments in reading and math. Transfer students must have successfully completed their prior school year.

Behavior & Character

A history of positive conduct and respect for authority is expected; disciplinary records may be requested.

Family Partnership

At least one parent/guardian must affirm our Statement of Faith, Core Values, Philosophy of Education, and standards of conduct and commit to partnering with teachers in their child’s spiritual and academic growth.

Space Availability

Because of small class sizes, some grades fill quickly; qualified applicants may be wait pooled.

Special Needs Review

We consider documented learning needs individually; extensive services are not available.

Your Path to Enrollment

Schedule a Tour

Experience campus life, meet our Headmaster, and ask questions. We’ll guide you through programs and financial aid options.

Submit New Student Application

Complete our online application form and pay the $100 application fee (credited to enrollment if accepted). We’ll review your records and schedule a Shadow Day for your student.

Shadow Day & Assessment

Your child will spend part or all of a day with one of our host students. We’ll evaluate academics, conduct a family interview, and complete readiness testing during the visit.

Enrollment Decision

We look forward to welcoming your family to SSCS. Upon acceptance, you can sign the enrollment form and pay the remaining $250 fee to secure your enrollment. If a class is full, the applicant is placed in the wait pool and fees are refunded only if the class remains full.
