Traditions That Bind Us
In our close-knit Lion family, every tradition is an opportunity to worship, celebrate, and discover God-given gifts in a Christ-centered community.
Bible Buddies pairs older and younger Lions monthly for Scripture, prayer, and mentorship. Our Spirit Days ignite school pride. For pure student-centered fun, Field Day and our Neon Fun Run feature friendly competition and fun runs. Each spring, our Spring Musical showcases our students’ incredible talents for the whole island. Donuts with Grown-Ups and BBQ & Bingo Night offer opportunities for adult fellowship and support for SSCS. Our annual Under the Oaks Run weaves through the streets of Jekyll Island, celebrating healthy competition for competitive or casual runners.

Because of our intentionally small environment, students can explore multiple interests -arts, athletics, leadership, and service - without being boxed into one track. It’s how we help each child discover where their gifts meet God’s call on their life.
